Berserk is the best manga I’ve read. Playing the Souls games and Elden Ring recently interested me in Berserk. This manga heavily inspired the Dark Souls series and even Elden Ring. These games even contain many references to the manga and even usable weapons and armour sets. I believe that Berserk stands at the top of the dark fantasy genre. The story is quite depressing, violent and also beautiful. The art style is masterfully done. Unfortunately, the author Kentaro Miura passed away in 2021 and the manga is now on indefinite hiatus. But the manga is a masterpiece nonetheless. And if you are interested in the dark fantasy genre and the Soulsborne series, I highly recommend Berserk.
There is also an anime series if you’re interested, although I’ve yet to watch it.
