KCD is one of the most unoptimised games I’ve ever played. It was released in 2017 and even recent games like Elden Ring run smoothly on my PC. My CPU is i3 10100, RAM is 8GB, and the graphics card is a GTX 1650 SUPER. These specs are more than enough to run almost all currently released games really smoothly. By saying that KCD’s optimisation is bad, I mean like 18FPS in towns and texture pop-ins. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the game. I learned a lot about history by playing it as well. The story is great, and the world is gorgeous. But the performance issues really make me want to stop playing. Do you guys know of any way I can get stable performance in this game?
