I’ve had the Nintendo Switch for about 6 months now. I have the Xbox 1s and it’s not great (which is its own post), but that left me cautious when buying another console. I bought the Switch for Legend of Zelda mostly. I had played it on a friend’s Switch and loved the game. I thought the game was absolutely beautiful and I picked up the controls pretty easy. I’m not one for games that make you think about button combos. I’m honestly here mostly for the story.
For a while, it took me awhile to find games that I really liked on Switch, that I couldn’t also play on Xbox, which had a controller I preferred. A friend recently introduced me to Sky: Children of Light. This game isn’t exclusive to Switch but it does feel like it was made for it. This game surprises me because its free, but that doesn’t stop it from being visually stunning and open world with incredible worldbuilding. It will make you laugh and pull at your heartstrings. My favorite part though is the flying. Nothing is more calming. Flight is easy and smooth. You can just spend your time enjoying the game’s incredible art. This has certainly become one of my favorite games.
