Without a doubt it’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for me. I can’t believe it’s been six years since Breath of the Wild was released. I’ve played it through twice since then, but I’m practically tearing up thinking about another Switch Zelda.
Honorable mention goes to Fire Emblem Engage. I’m a longtime fan of that series even though I didn’t think Three Houses was as engaging as Awakening.
I’m really looking forward to Armoured Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. It was announced at 2022’s The Game Awards. I haven’t played any of the AC games before but as a fan of FromSoftware, I’m hyped. But there’s no definite release date for it yet. The game I’m most hyped for is Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It looks gorgeous and seems to focus on the narrative more than the previous games. It releases on December 2023, iirc.
